Stuart Thompson is an ex-graphic designer who now produces high end artworks in graphite pencil and oils  All pictures of people and animals are drawn from photographs and are rendered in a hyper-realistic style although some of his oil paintings are more relaxed.

Stuart takes commissions for all types of subjects and is currently developing a range of drawings and paintings to sell as prints.

Depending on the subject, artworks typically take about 20 plus hours to complete which reflects in the quality of the finished work. For instance the  picture of the three horses shown on the gallery page has over 250,000 pencil strokes.

Stuart works from his studio in Shropshire but has sold paintings and drawings all around the world.
