Roberto Rizzo was born in Naples, now lives and works near Rome.

After classical studies, he attended the IED (European Institute of Design) in Milan and worked as an illustrator for various publishers. Since 1996 part of his artistic activity is dedicated to painting on stone also known as 'rock painting art'.

In 2004 he published with Mondadori manual 'Sassi paintings', which was a great success editorial.

The artist participates today in many exhibitions in Italy and abroad and his work has been exhibited in galleries and in many catalogues of contemporary art.
