I was born in Preston, in the North West of England, in 1985. I've always loved and been interested in animals and it became apparent during my school years especially that doing detailed and realistic artwork comes naturally to me. I enjoy seeing a painting come to life before my eyes. 

I come from a family of artists, my dad David and sister Sarah are also wildlife artists.

My first foray into animal art was with pencil drawings. I liked the immediacy of pencil and began drawing seriously in 2004. I refined and honed my technique, always striving to capture the detail with great accuracy. In 2006 I began painting using traditional oil paints on canvas and have continued with this medium to this day.

I like to paint a wide variety of wildlife from all over the world, as well as pet portraits, and I'm always seeking new challenges to stretch my abilities.
