I am a French Canadian born in a small town in the Province of Ontario. At the age of twenty-five, I moved to the province of Quebec . Aside from an oil painting summer course that I took when I was 14 years old, I am self-taught.

Colours talk to me, they make me feel alive. That is probably why I am passionate about all that has to do with nature. I love animals and flowers! My garden is filled with over one hundred varieties of perennials.

I love using acrylic paint as my main medium for its versatility, texture and vivid colours. Throughout the years, I developed some techniques that helped me paint realistic portraits.

In 2012, I bought a set of pastel pencils and just started using it. I fell in love with this medium and enjoy drawing animal portraits.
