I am a Londoner, a real cockney, if you met me it would be very evident. I moved to Lincolnshire with my family in the 80's and when our girls grew up and left home I felt the empty nest syndrome. My husband started painting at the time and I joined him at a local art group and I was trying to paint a cat in pastel and I struggled to do it so I googled it and Vic Bearcroft name came up with an article on painting one of his own cats. I went to Vic for lessons and the rest is history that as 5 years ago now.
