When I was young, my parents could just give me a piece of paper and some pencils and I would quietly sit down and draw for hours! Clearly this hasn’t changed at all! I love those days when I make a cup of coffee, put on some great music and just start drawing. When the final outcome makes another person happy besides me, it feels great!

I have a long history in creating art – twelve years of studying in art school and almost seven years of experience in working as a portrait artist. Throughout that time I’ve had my work hung in galleries, won prizes and been published in nature and wildlife magazines. I have drawn a dozen portraits of pets and people and illustrated three books.

I specialize in highly detailed and realistic hand drawn portraits. I do not dread any kind of subjects, but animals are always near my heart - no doubt I enjoy drawing them the most!
